One Square Meter
2:51“One riff. Lights out.”
Story

Daejeon. In a soundproof booth of barely one square meter, he did nothing but downpick to a metronome for years. His riffs are machine-tight, and on stage he never moves a single step from his spot. After the late breakdown: “Not one step back!”
후반 브레이크다운 뒤 「Not one step back!」
In the details
The tape square on the floor becomes a square of light on stage. The room got bigger, but RYAN is still inside that one meter.
바닥의 테이프 사각형이 무대 위 빛의 사각형으로 바뀐다. 방은 넓어졌지만 RYAN은 여전히 그 1미터 안에 있다.
Lyrics
Daejeon, a room the size of a doorOne square meter, a click on the floorDownstroke, downstroke, never the upI don't play the notes, I cut them up
Hit. Stop.Hit. Stop. The silence is part of the shot
One riff, lights outI don't move, I don't need toOne riff, lights outThe ground moves for meONE RIFF. LIGHTS OUT.
Twenty-fourteen, a drummer with no faceI left a comment, one line, still in its placeNobody knows what that first line saidTwo kids, two cities, one song in their heads
Hit. Stop.Hit. Stop. The silence is part of the shot
One riff, lights outI don't move, I don't need toOne riff, lights outThe ground moves for meONE RIFF. LIGHTS OUT.
Every hit, the same squareEvery stop, I'm still there
한 발짝도! (Not one step!)
Not one step back!
One riff, lights outI don't move, I don't need toOne riff, lights outThe ground moves for me
ONE RIFF!
