He grew up in a repair shop at Nakwon Arcade, stealing riffs by ear while customers' guitars got fixed. On the night of the first demo in 2019, his first string snapped mid-solo. BLAKE never replaced it. Since then, the last note of every solo he plays is missing.

In the details

Fifteen seconds of intro solo, then — bang. In every solo, “something else” fills the missing note. The cap carries through all three scenes.

Lyrics

Nakwon Arcade, a repair shop lightBroken guitars brought back to lifeI learned every riff that walked through the doorBy ear, on the floor, then I asked for more

Six strings, six namesOne of them never came

There's a note I never playLeft it in the dark that dayThere's a note I never playSomething sings it anywayMISSING NOTE

Twenty-nineteen, the first demo nightMid-solo the high string snapped in the lightI never replaced it, I let the gap stayAnd something on the tape sang back that day

Six strings, six namesOne of them never came

There's a note I never playLeft it in the dark that dayThere's a note I never playSomething sings it anywayMISSING NOTE

I left it in the dark

(It snapped!)

There's a note I never playLeft it in the dark that dayThere's a note I never playSomething sings it anywayMISSING NOTE
