Story

Busan, 2009. Nine-year-old TYLER drummed on his pillow with chopsticks, copying the drummer on TV. At fourteen he started posting hands-only drum covers, and RYAN in Daejeon left the first comment. The album opens with his count. Four clicks of the sticks, and everything begins.
In the details
The first sound of the song is a stick count. He is the drummer who never lifts his head through a show, so in the last scene his head is down too.
Lyrics
(One, Two, Three, Four!)
Busan, oh-nine, a borrowed DVDA man on a stage split the time for meChopsticks on a pillow, the walls kept scoreNine years old and I wanted more
Every beat cut in halfEvery half cut again
Count me inBefore the light goes outCount me inI was born for the countOne, two, three, fourCOUNT ME IN
That winter a hero went quiet for goodI played his parts the only way I couldHands on the screen, no face in the frameA kid in Daejeon answered back the same
Every beat cut in halfEvery half cut again
Count me inBefore the light goes outCount me inI was born for the countOne, two, three, fourCOUNT ME IN
I never lift my headThe strobe follows me
Count me inBefore the light goes outCount me inI was born for the countOne, two, three, fourCOUNT ME IN
